Uses the cute relationship and aesthetic between Cat and Mouse and subverts it to explore a tumultuous lifelong relationship about the power of love. It shows that no matter where a Drama is set or its tonal/stylistic effect, it can still come across with just as much, if not more pathos.
East Enders - A climactic christmas special as always with the discovery of Dean being a rapist. It always gets messy in Walford with some secret being exposed, and it always ends in the Vic being smashed up in some way.
Gran Torino - It is funny to see reminders of Dirty Harry's husky voice as Clint Eastwood takes on the character of an old racist bastard who changes his ways. A funny, bittersweet redemption story, Eastwood knows how to strip back and reveal the truth of modern American society. A brilliant film.
